Design is a reference to the visual elements of a website, such as the layout, color scheme, fonts, images etc., whereas Development pertains to the functional side, such as forms, scripts, multimedia, user interactivity, dynamic pages etc.

When working with us on a CUSTOM project, we will first work out a budget. This budget will then help us strike a balance between your design goals and your development goals. We will also help develop an upgrade strategy, so we can build the site with future upgrades in mind, so you can expand your site easily when you are ready. After we create your project's plan, we will be begin development and finish the site by your deadline.

We have put together some CUSTOM packages to get you started, and to help you understand how we price our CUSTOM jobs. Please keep in mind these are only a framework to go by, and although the prices and features are valid, we can also work with you to develop a site customized as you need. The best way to start is to pick a package within your price range, which will give you an idea of what you will get for your money. Secondly, decide what in that package works for you and what doesn't. Our CUSTOM Design & Development process is straightforward. You can start by contacting us with the Contact Form to the right if you're not sure if you're ready to start yet, or you can pick your package and pay for your site with the Store below if you want to start ASAP.
If you choose to contact us first, be as descriptive as possible in your message. Include priorities and special needs as well as a deadline. We will then respond as quickly as we can with your best option. We may include a request for payment and proposal in our response email so you can pay if you wish to start immediately according to the terms in the proposal. If you are still unsure after the initial email, we will work with you to find a solution that best fits your needs and budget.
If you choose to pay on the Website and start immediately, you will be contacted after payment is received. We will then work with you to develop a proposal and timeline, which will be agreed upon before project start. Once this proposal is finalized, we will begin work according to proposal and deadlines.
>>Materials
You will need to provide us with the content for your website. You can send us a text file with the content formatted or unformatted, and we will use our best discretion when adding your content to the site. We also encourage you to send as many Images and other files that may help us better build your site. The more detailed information we receive from you the better your results will be. If you have ideas as to the color scheme, design or layout please include this with the rest of your content. If you would like us to handle the creative part instead we will do that as well. We are here to work with you, you're the boss and what you say goes. However, we will be upfront with you with what's possible and feasible and what is beyond the scope of your project.

We offer CUSTOM Layout design for our BASIC, PREMIUM and XPANDED Websites, as well as design for CUSTOM Websites and Website Re-Design. Like our Pre-Built and Custom Websites, and our Hosting accounts as well, we use our four-level packages for our Layouts.

When you start off with our pre-built sites, such as the BASIC Site ($49), you get a changeable 3-color layout scheme. You can set the colors and transparency, but you are limited to this standard layout. If you are happy with this, then you shouldn't need a custom layout. However, if you need a design to match your vision, then you should consider a Layout Package. The better the package, the closer we will be able to meet your design goals.
The XPANDED package includes a Flash Animation. Flash is a powerful multimedia authoring environment, and you will see examples of it's capabilities throughout the web. As opposed to a static image, which does not change, a Flash animation is a movie-like sequence of images that is great for Banner Ads, eye-catching promos, or just enhancing the quality of your site. As with our CUSTOM Website packages, we work to meet your needs, and if you would like, we can exchange 4 Design hours per Flash animation, or trade a Flash animation for 4 design hours. We can also create the Layout for your Pre-built site as a Flash Animation, so you have an animated layout instead, which will really impress your audience.

Professional Layout ($300):
Common to all CUSTOM Sites is the PROFESSIONAL Layout service on the 'Layout Design' section. This portion of your site is dedicated to the visual design only.
CUSTOM PayPal Store ($200):
We will customize a PayPal store similar to the one used on our site for your own site, consistent with the design and using your product needs.
Applications ($150 each):
We currently have 3 applications you can choose from for your site. You can choose any combination of these depending on how many are included with your CUSTOM Package. You can choose from a Multimedia Player (Plays MP3s and/or Videos), an Image Gallery, or a Custom Contact Form.
Static Pages ($100/page):
A page is static when it does not change. Static pages are usually created once and aren't changed until the site is updated. Static pages are great for Home pages, About pages, Contact pages and other pages that do not need to change frequently.
Dynamic Pages ($200/Page):
A Dynamic page uses a server-side script such as PHP and a Database to display information. These pages can be changed by user's visiting a site, such as a Blog, or can be changed by the administrator frequently to update information, such as a News page. There are many situations when a Dynamic page is preferred over a Static page. However, Dynamic pages often involve a lot more work to build than static pages, and therefore are more expensive to implement.
This table is only a guide, we will work with you to accomplish your goals for the appropriate package. For example, if you are looking to buy a CUSTOM PREMIUM Website, and you don't need a PayPal Store because your site does not need one, then we can offer an extra dynamic page, or 2 static pages, or extra design work with an extra application instead. This table is a guide to help you better understand what you will get for your money.
